Webinar: EdD Programs During COVID-19: Building Community in New WaysEdD programs, students, and faculty have experienced their personal and professional worlds turned upside down as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As we all learn to live and work in new ways, this webinar focuses on specific opportunities for EdD programs to build community in virtual spaces. We will share our strategies and invite participants to discuss virtual community-building ideas more broadly. About the PresentersAlyson Adams
Alyson Adams is a Clinical Associate Professor and Associate Director in the School of Teaching and Learning at the University of Florida. She teaches in several programs for full time educators, including the online EdD program in Teachers, Schools, & Society, and an M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership. She focuses her research and service on professional learning for educators at all levels.
Gage Jeter Gage Jeter is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning at the University of Florida. He coordinates the Teachers, Schools, & Society EdD program in Curriculum and Instruction and teaches and advises professional practice doctoral students who live and work across the state of Florida and the US. His research centers on humanizing research and writing processes and products and professional learning experiences related to critical and social justice literacies. |
