Advancing Educational Leadership in the EdD CIG
This CIG is dedicated to strengthening the role of PK-20 educational leadership within CPED programs by enhancing the alignment between EdD preparation and the evolving needs of PK-20 leaders. The group will explore best practices, challenges, and innovations in Dissertation in Practice (DiP) research, leadership development, and education systemic change. The CIG will also contribute to CPED’s broader mission by generating and disseminating knowledge that improves practitioner-focused doctoral education.
The Advancing Educational Leadership CIG is a shared community of practice with CPED's partner the International Council for Professors of Educational Leadership.
To join this CIG:
- Log into your CPED account.
- Next, click My Profile, and then click Edit Profile.
- Scroll down, and you will see the option to add yourself to a CIG.
- Choose the CIG(s) you'd like to join.
- Finally, click Save Profile.
