CPED Challenge FridayReimagining Education from Last Chance to Best Chance: Evaluation of Context-Specific Solutions to Address the Leadership Problem of PracticeDate: Friday, January 23, 2026 Time: 1:00 - 2:00 PM ET The successful navigation of Dissertation in Practice begins and ends with a precise leadership problem of practice. This session builds a context-specific evaluation framework that guides a process of evaluating several possible solutions towards the selection of a single preferred solution. In response to one student's leadership problem of practice, the evaluation framework was built upon dimensions of resources, Bolman and Deal's (2021) four frames, Shapiro and Stefkovich's (2021 ) multiple ethics paradigm, and Shields's (2025) transformative leadership principles. Once crafted, the evaluation framework guides the evaluation process. This session is co-facilitated by four Year 3 EdD Educational Leadership students.
