Network Launch
After more than a year of study and planning, the CPED Scholar Practitioner Network has officially launched, with its first event held on April 29th. The aim of this professional community is to connect educational practitioners and leaders across CPED institutions, disciplines, and career stages to:
- Cultivate community connections by building personal relationships with other EdD scholars from across the country
- Build professional connections with peers across 160+ CPED member institutions
- Stay informed about CPED initiatives, research, and events
- Explore mentorship opportunities (as a mentor or mentee)
- Discover employment and leadership opportunities in your field of study
- Engage in professional dialogue on the issues shaping education today.
Coordinated by Dr. Samantha Cohen (American University) and Chelsea Northman (EdD student at Shenandoah University), the group is largely student and alumni run. Please invite your students and alumni to join the private LinkedIn Group and to register for any of the upcoming Scholar Practitioner Network events below.
