CPED Announces New Host Institution for Impacting Education (2027–2030)
The Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate is pleased to share that Sacred Heart University has been selected as the next host institution for Impacting Education: Journal on Transforming Professional Practice for the 2027–2030 term.
Two Sacred Heart University faculty will serve as Co-Editors-in-Chief who will guide the journal’s editorial direction.
Wesley Henry, PhD, serves as Associate Professor and Chair of Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University. His research focuses on educational leader preparation, professional learning, and democratizing school leadershipacross diverse contexts.
Kat Wallace, EdD, is Assistant Professor and Program Director of the EdD in Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University. Her scholarship centers on improvement science in educator preparation, equity, and continuous improvement in leadership development.
Dr. Henry and Dr. Wallace will undergo a year of apprenticeship with our current co-Editors-in-Chief before they assume the helm in 2027.
