Faculty Opening: Boston College

The Department of Educational Administration and Higher Education at the Boston College Lynch School of Education invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track Associate Professor of Educational Administration to begin in September 2009.

Candidates are sought to teach in the areas of public and private P-12 school administration in the master's program and Ed.D. for practicing administrators. Preferred candidates will be expected to meet the traditional requirements of excellence in teaching, active scholarly and professional work, service to the University and community, and future leadership in the program. The successful candidate should possess previous experience as a P-12 administrator, an established reputation in educational leadership, a successful record of teaching graduate courses or staff development and professional programs in educational leadership, and experience in advising or mentoring educators aspiring to become school leaders.
