With private alpha-launch of the CPED website, we really need feedback from you, the early users. No question is too great or too small--we can't improve it without hearing from you.
It would be so helpful if information across universities was organized topically by core content, capstones, signature pedagogies, etc. This would alleviate the need for each person to look at everything from each university to find out what others are doing. Some kind of synthesis would be really, really helpful! Could there be a spot on the navigation bar for locating this information?
Aliza,
First of all, I missed your post until just now... my apologies! What your suggesting would indeed be helpful, but unfortunately much of what gets posted comes to us in the form of word docs or pdf files, meaning our regular search box doesn't find things in there.
However, here is what I'd recommend:
http://www.google.com/search?num=50&hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all&q=site:cpedinitiative.org+"signature+pedagogy"&btnG=Search
The above search uses Google, restricting it just to the CPED Initiative website, in this case for the "signature pedagogy" phrase. Google can see the doc and pdf files, so it is a pretty good way to search through EVERYTHING that's here.
While it's not the ideal solution, I hope it helps. Please let us know if you have any other ideas!
