As a result of our collaborations with the Carnegie Foundation on bringing Improvement Science into CPED EdD programs, our members have been invited to apply to participate in Carnegie’s iLEAD (Improvement Leadership Education and Development) project. iLEAD is designed to further the capacities of institutions of higher education (IHEs) and their local education agency (LEA) partners to enact systematic improvement efforts within their organizations and in partnership with one another. Attached you will find a detailed description of this project as well as information about sending letters of intent.
In addition to the application, Carnegie will be hosting a conference call to discuss the project and answer questions about the application process. The conference call is scheduled for Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Pacific time. (Carnegie is also asking interested applicants to fill out this survey: https://goo.gl/forms/rfWHdqWVpwkY6wvg1)
If you have any questions about CPED/your institution's participation in this project, please feel free to contact David Imig, CPED Board Chair (firstname.lastname@example.org). David has been working closely with Carnegie leadership to develop the grant that supports this effort. We look forward to engaging our members in this important opportunity.
